1.1 We speak English at home. How can my family benefit from Baby Rock English?
Baby Rock English has lots of benefits for English-speaking families living in Barcelona. The sessions give you a great opportunity to use English in a group setting so that your child will become aware of the usefulness of English in contexts outside of the home. Children also reap the benefits of having increased vocabulary input and exposure to different accents in English. Not only that, you’ll get the chance to re-live your childhood with some old favourite songs and learn fun new songs as well for singing with the whole family. |

1.2 Do the parents need to know English to participate?
No! The teacher will provide the music and lead all activities. It’s not necessary for parents to have any knowledge of English, although by the end of the course you’ll know all the words to the songs and you can sing them at home together! |

1.3 Isn’t my child too young to start English? S/he still isn’t speaking in his/her native language yet!
Don’t worry! The focus of Baby Rock English is not on formal language teaching, but on providing a fun and stimulating environment to parents and children. The latest research indicates that the sooner babies begin to listen to a foreign language the more likely it is that they will speak fluently and with a natural accent.
We believe that having the opportunity to become familiar with English from a young age is a big advantage for children, but our real mission is to provide you and your children with a unique experience to learn and enjoy one another’s company as a family. |

1.4 At the end of the course will my child know English?
This depends on each child. If your son or daughter is older than 12 months s/he will probably learn and repeat some vocabulary. It’s important to keep in mind that babies and children under the age of 4 are generally not yet capable of following a formal language class but they are in the process of developing their listening and language skills and are capable of becoming familiar and comfortable with the sounds of English.
This is very important to be able to speak with little or no accent in English. Each child’s progress also depends largely on attending classes regularly and practicing at home. |

2.1 Can we try a free class before starting a course?
At Baby Rock English we do not generally offer trial classes for the simple reason that small children require a longer period of adaptation to new situations than adults. One class isn’t enough to really know how your child will adapt and learn with Baby Rock English.
We do offer for families who want to try out our workshops before signing up for an entire trimester.

2.2 Can I drop my child off and pick him/her up at the end of class?
Our activities are designed to be enjoyed with your child and as a family. All children need to be accompanied with an adult who is responsible for them during the class. |

2.3 I have twins- Can the three of us come together?
Of course! Ask about our special discounts for two or more children. |

2.4 Can both parents come (or one parent and a relative/friend)?
Yes. Both mom and dad (or other caretakers ) are welcome! Each child can come with up to 2 adults. |

2.5 Do you offer English courses for older children and/or adults?
Yes. Our teachers have years of experience in the field of English language teaching with both children and adults. If you are interested in doing a private language course get in touch with us and we will design a personalized English learning plan for students of any age. |
